Left unchecked, the resulting bacteria can enter the pet's blood stream, causing infection or damge to vital organs such as the kidneys, lungs, heart or liver. Establishing a daily routine of proper dental care will help extend the life of your pet. Afterall, humans don't go a day without brushing their teeth, so why should our dogs and cats?
